The existence of this e-book – Colour Theory: An Intuitive Guide is as a glorious by-product. I wanted to cover this topic as the 4^th episode of Digital Painting using GIMP video series, but I was stuck with the question – what the primary colours are and the convoluted opinions of people around it.

5500+ words and many diagrams later, the answer is clear and put in a way which goes deeper into the topic and yet simple enough to make sense for an absolute beginner.
